Samuel’s Haven, Inc. endeavors to minister to the community. When requested, we assist people in finding a foot hold in society by providing encouragement, training and knowledge. We strongly encourage and attempt to train toward good work ethics, necessary job skills as well as self discipline.
As we are able, we provide short term emergency housing, deliver food and supplies to the elderly and handicapped, and help clients utilize existing available services to meet their needs.
We do all this only through the donated services of all our wonderful volunteers.
Our local Churches and organizations are greatly appreciated for sending their volunteers and their donations to the Thrift Shop which helps fund this ministry.
We could not do all the things that are done without your helping hands!
The vision of Samuel’s Haven Inc. to minister the gospel of Christ Jesus to:
The helpless, the homeless, the handicapped, and the elderly. Including their families by meeting their physical needs as well as their spiritual needs. It is the goal of this ministry to provide food, clothing, and housing and assist the individuals in these groups .
This is accomplished by having on hand an established supply of emergency foods and clothing which is made available to those in need of assistance.
A list of property owners willing to assist these target groups has been developed and maintained in an effort to provide housing for these targeted groups.
Samuel’s Haven works with local business owners to establish a list of businesses willing to give people in the target groups an opportunity to reestablish themselves in the work force community.
Volunteers are recruited and trained to assist in carrying out this mission.
Our Bible class is designed to welcome in anyone that is ready to learn a deeper knowledge of the word of God and learn how to reach out to others as well. We don’t just want a “church” idea.
We want a living, learning, acting lifestyle that is reaching out to others with the Love this world is missing. We have found that as you grow in knowledge of the Bible, your life will grow in acceptance of others and a willingness to help them when they are down.
