Samuel’s Haven, Inc is working strongly on getting the Mt. Underwood Baptist Church building prepared to begin services. You may find us after you turn off 64 East in front of the rock quarry beside The triangle Stop, go over the bridge and pass the cow field, turn left onto Talley Rd. to find us on the right. The Duke -Energy Power has been turned on and now we are looking for volunteers to help determine the amount and type of supplies needed to make the building ready for services. The Bathrooms are in great need of an overhaul. The Foyer is needing a loving touch on the ceiling, floor and steeple. We are really needing a ramp up the front of the building as we have several handicapped persons that attend regularly. We had a wonderful volunteer weed eat the grass the other day and for this we are very grateful. Several volunteers have begun bringing items needed such as light fixtures and nursery supplies.
